Karen Ecker joined Robbins, Kelly, Patterson & Tucker in 2022, where she focuses her practice on estate planning and estate administration, including asset protection and charitable giving strategies, trusts and wills, special needs planning and elder law.
Karen is a trusted advisor who serves individuals and families by helping them create values-driven estate plans and philanthropic giving strategies to benefit the people and causes most dear to them. She drafts wills, trusts, agreements, and other key documents to implement the thoughtful transfer of assets while minimizing taxes. Karen also assists clients with probate, estate and trust administration, as well as provides philanthropic advisory services to families and private family foundations, including grant-making strategies, meeting facilitation, and governance and compliance.
Before coming to RKPT, Karen practiced in the area of estate planning and led major gift and charitable giving strategies at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
A teacher at heart, Karen’s clients appreciate her relatable style of explaining the estate planning concepts and options.
